J Cards. Excel file. 43/70 listed so far.
Whereas the prefixes are normally useful to describe printing processes, in this case J stands for Japan or "views of Japanese life." There are just 75 of these cards. Cathy Ann Lickteig published a checklist of them in an article entitled "In the Wake of Commodore Perry," Rotograph Review, but her list is incomplete. Forty-three (43) of these are listed in the Excel file above. Click on the link to study them or to download. Eventually all 75 will appear. |
